Tottenham Morning Round-Up, Saturday 17th October 2026: Spurs Prepare to Face Coventry Amid De Zerbi Selection Headache

Good morning, Spurs fans. There's plenty to digest ahead of this weekend's action, so let's get into it.

Transfer-wise, there's a sobering note as Spurs Web report that Tottenham have received an update on Antonio Nusa suggesting they may regret not going further to sign him in the summer, with rivals now said to have moved ahead in the race for the winger (Spurs Web).

Team news dominates the build-up to the Coventry clash, with Football.London reporting that Tottenham could be without as many as ten players for the match following a setback under Roberto De Zerbi (Football.London). Alasdair Gold and Ryan Taylor also discuss on Talking Tottenham that De Zerbi faces a big decision regarding an absence that is still to be clarified (Football.London).

Spurs Web have also put together their usual matchday guide, covering how to watch Tottenham's game against Coventry, including TV channel details, team news and predictions, as Spurs look to get their season moving in matchweek seven (Spurs Web).

Looking ahead, all eyes are on how De Zerbi sets up his side with so many players potentially unavailable, as Tottenham aim to kick-start their campaign against Coventry this weekend (Spurs Web) (Football.London) (Football.London).
