Tottenham Morning Round-Up, Wednesday 28th October 2026: Barcelona Eye Bergvall as Transfer Stance Made Clear

Barcelona have reportedly added Lucas Bergvall to their list of future stars, despite the midfielder only putting pen to paper on a new Tottenham contract in the summer, and Spurs are said to have set out a firm stance on his future amid the interest, according to Spurs Web (Spurs Web).

There's also a nostalgic look back from Spurs Web at former fan-favourite Erik Lamela, charting his journey from that unforgettable Puskas Award-winning rabona against Arsenal to his current life working behind the scenes at Monterrey (Spurs Web).

Elsewhere, Football.London's Alasdair Gold and Matt Maltby sat down for a new episode of Talking Tottenham, touching on a quirky new tradition that seems to have coincided with the club's upturn in form - worth a watch for supporters wanting the inside track from the press box (Football.London).

Nothing concrete yet on fixtures or team news for today, but keep an eye out for further transfer stance updates on Bergvall as the story develops throughout the day (Spurs Web).
